I did my thesis, on the topic of "Punk Princess". Basically, my thesis was an amalgamation of two very opposite themes, and values but mainly it was a depiction of my true self. Punk represents the rougher much rebellious side of any human being, while a Princess' raison de'tre is to be delicate like a flower,and elegant like one aswell.

My name is Amna and I'm a textile designer trying to work her way up from the bottom to,, well not the top but certainly to a point where I can consider my career in textile designing a reality.I'm a bit of an optimistic but always don't find the silver lining.

Basically, i am a computer artist, but designing textiles has been my passion. My designs are not for everyone, they are usually for the people who are trying to fit in this world. The type who want their attire to speak for themselves to define them.

•  AutoCAD.


Over the years using these techniques I have not only created attires like shawls, belts, bags and skirts but also have done much in upholstery items like bedsheets and cushions.

Inspiration: Mostly my work has been inspired by various themes, like Punk, Mexican, Islamic etc.
